Our products are intended for ornamental or decorative use only and are not intended as toys.   Many of our products include small or separable parts that could represent a choking hazard for young children (especially those under age 3).

 

Material Safety

All our Metals--Bronze or Sterling Silver Plated--are Lead Free, Nickel Free and Cadmium Free--we only use the safest items for our jewelry making.   All our items are handmade--we do not guarantee that any item we offer will hold up to your manipulation.  If you fold, bend, wrap or otherwise change the shape of the items they may break.

 

Our Business Hours

Our hours are 10:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.  (We do work some Saturdays but not always).  Any order not placed during these hours will go to the next business day (does not include Saturday).  We will always let our customers know through our shop announcements if we are away from the shop.  We are also closed on major Holidays.  In this case the order would go to the next business day.

 

Refund, Return and Cancellation Policies:

We want all of our customers to be 100% happy with their purchases, and we will make every attempt to meet and exceed your expectations.  In the event that for some reason you are not happy with your purchase, we will accept returns within 2 weeks of delivery (this includes all US orders and International orders--unless the item is specifically marked Non Returnable).  Please contact us first to let us help you make sure that you meet all of the requirements for a return.

All returned items must be mailed back to us in the original box, inside the bubbled mailer (with the same care we took to send it) and mailed with delivery confirmation.  Also please include a copy of the invoice.  When we have received the item(s), we will do an assessment, and if they are still in the same condition as they were sold to you, we will promptly issue a refund to you -- less the shipping charges, which are not refundable.

If the item(s) is defective or is damaged in shipping, we will need you to provide photos to us showing the damage, and we will review and make a judgement.  We may, at our discretion, replace the damaged item(s) or issue you a refund.

Cancellations can be made only prior to shipment.  Unfortunately, we are unable to offer cancellations or refunds on custom orders once production starts.  We reserve the right to cancel any order for any reason.

***A Note about MOOD CABOCHONS:***  Please know when you are purchasing a piece of mood jewelry that there are a few things you should know: 

1) Never get your mood jewelry in water--it can cause a reaction with the glue and the acrylic bottom (does not pertain to the glass mood cabochons) and could make it have spots of uneven color changing. 

2)  Don't ever try to glue in a mood cabochon that has come out--most glues will eat through the acrylic and discolor your cabochon, we use a very specific glue and ask that you mail it back to us and we will fix it and mail it back to you (the only cost is you mailing it to us).    

3) Mood cabochons are very temperamental and need to be dry--I guess you could say they are "moody" : ) !!  

4) Lastly, if you loose your mood cabochon please mail back the jewelry part of your item and we will gladly replace it ONE time for free and mail it back to you--(Please mail in a small protected box/mailer--not responsible for damaged items on arrival in which we will inform you that we cannot accept it), the only cost here is you mailing it to us.

Any and all information collected at this site will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, loaned, or otherwise disclosed.  Any information you give to Sugar Coated Creations will be held with the utmost care, and will not be used in ways that you have not consented to.  A more detailed explanation about how we safeguard your personal information is provided below. **** All credit card data goes directly to Stripe, our credit card service provider, and it is never visible to us or maintained by us in any form.

 

What Information Is Collected:

As part of the order process, the following information is collected from shoppers:

  • Shipping/Billing Address

How That Information Is Used:

The personal information of our customers and registered members will never be sold, rented, loaned, traded, or leased to anyone.  We take every precaution to keep their personal information confidential.  We may on occasion send an email to people who have made recent purchases letting them know of sales and special events at Sugar Coated Creations, but we dislike spam as much as you do, and we commit not to add to the problem.

Resale or disclosure of information to third parties:

Sugar Coated Creations does not sell, rent, loan, trade, or lease any personal information collected at our site, including membership forms or email lists.
